I am writing about the annual meeting.
Thomas Wojak recently asked me if he will be called upon to speak at the meeting as a new honorary member.  I don’t know what you all have in mind. In the past, nominators have introduced the new honorary member, and that member has spoken a few word, showed slides or taught a workshop. It’s different this year, as we have another workshop going on, but what do you think? Thomas also told me that he has approached a few people about the possibility of him planning an open house at his studio, The W.O.R.K.S , in Vallejo soon. He has not received a reply to that idea. If you want to schedule that, the annual meeting would be a good place for him to announce and invite the membership.
I am already doing a short talk about my residency with him last summer, so I can segue that into an introduction, and invite Michelle to say a few words too, if you like. Of courses I leave it all up to you!
