We decided a few months ago to split “Publicity” into 2 positions: Social Media and Marketing.  Karen Gallagher-Iverson stepped forward to tackle social media. BUT, between the decision to split and the annual meeting, you (Helene) withdrew your willingness to do Marketing (major last minute burn out!). We should have revised the ballot at that point, re-combining Social Media and Marketing into the one position of Publicity. But we forgot. The upshot is we have Karen ready to run with Social Media but we don’t have anyone to tackle Publicity/Marketing.

Helene, I know you’re recovering from serious last-minute-itis but you are our Past President and the person who was going to tackle Marketing, so what do you think we should do? And Karen, you should weigh in too.
