Re: One last piece of CSP business for me.

Helene & all,
A thank you gift for Luz is a very nice gesture. $50 seems a bit minimal however.
I think that it would be appropriate to send any thank you with a (preferably handmade) card which is signed by as many of the old and new board members and/or csp general members as possible. For one person to send it might be a bit cold.
What has been the past practice on gifting for outgoing presidents?
This is something we might discuss/tend to at the upcoming board meeting.
Just some thoughts . . .

At the last meeting we agreed (not unanimously but with a majority vote) to give a $100 art supply gift card to Luz for all her hard work and dedication to CSP these last few years. Never quite got around to it. I assumed Luz would be at the meeting and planned on giving it to her then, turns out she was going to be out of town for the meeting.

Since I prefer to buy my wooden panels at Blick’s, to make things easier I propose sending her this $50 card instead. If you agree I will take care of mailing it to her and would expense the $50 to CSP and you save $50.
