Hello Printmakers,

I am going to see if I can put in a request for a new exposure unit in my art department at Dominican. We currently have a Berkey Ascor which I’m guessing is at least 30 years old. At home I have a Nu Arc of about the same vintage. Last year I made some tests with strands of LED lights which showed some promise but were far from perfected. LEDs use much less energy but my sense is that to get up to workable exposure times, the initial outlay is not cheap.

Have any of you recently purchased an exposure unit? What kind of light does it use? What was the cost and where did you get it?
