Joe Zirker's obituary maryly@xxxxxx 10 Jul 2022 14:32 PDT

Printmaker Joseph Zirker was once an active presence in the Bay Area
printmaking scene. From my limited perspective, he specialized in
monoprints and taught several innovative techniques.

I don't remember when I took his monoprinting class at the Mendocino Art
Center, but it was probably before the 2000s.

His obituary appears in today's S.F. Chronicle.

Of his 2 books, Translucent Transformations is a very short exhibition
catalog, and The Cast Acrylic Print longer at 82 pages. I bought a copy,
will post a review later.
