Hi Maryly and All!
Indeed sad, yet wonderful to celebrate Joe Zirker. I believe your mention of Mendicino and your meeting him was the same event that Inez Storer and myself were faculty participants. Yes, it was definitely before 2000 and could have been before 1990??? Time flies.
It was absolutely wonderful working with Joe and his humble approach to art making, his talent, and personality. Interesting witnessing Eva and her contrasting personality of a little dynamo whose reputation extended from the US to Belgium.
