Hi guys, I agree with Joanna, there are no easy answers as to what constitutes “green”. For instance, the amount of water that one uses in the cleanup of water soluble inks for intaglio could be just as detrimental as the minimal oils used to clean up oil based inks. As someone who just did a workshop in Pronto Plate Litho, there really is no “green” method of litho but I think the move toward becoming aware of the toxicity of Printmaking and the effects it ALL has on the earth is a good one!
Best!
Dana
