I’m attaching the January 2018 proposed new bylaws. This version was modified on Jan. 25, 2018 at 9:07 pm, the day after our Jan. 24 meeting.
Please review, see if this version meets with your approval, and whether there are any parts, phrases, concepts that need to be changed. If nothing, we can approve them for distribution to our members for a final vote.
OOPS! Where are the existing bylaws?? They’re supposed to be on our website under About-> Organization, but the page is missing! They should remain on our website until the new bylaws are approved at the annual meeting.
Once the board approves the proposed revised bylaws, we need to submit the proposed bylaws to the voting membership at least 3 weeks in advance of the vote, which would be the May meeting, so they should be mailed out with the journal. The vote of the majority of members in attendance at the annual meeting will acept or reject the proposed changes.
